I've always known that the shape of my love

is a double helix.

The spiral of passion forever interlinked with

the spiral of peace.

Never did I think that such a love could be possible

between two people;

it belonged to God and God alone.



But then we met, first in dreamtime

and then in this other dream called life.

Passion tempered with peace, knowing that all is well

- nothing is ever lost -

is the memory you gifted me with.



I don the veil for my sacred wedding

- with or without you -

for my heart is at peace and at one with yours.

And so the wedding music starts

and I begin to dance and spin,

and spinning I float ever upwards

in that eternal helix of love.
